InsurTech At-Bay reaches a valuation of $1.35B

On Thursday, At-Bay received $185M in a series D funding round that was led by Icon Ventures and Lightspeed Venture Partners. At-Bay is now valued at $1.35 billion. Existing partners which include Khosla Ventures, M12, Acrew Capital, Qumra Capital, the HSB fund of Munich Re Ventures, entrepreneur Shlomo Kramer, and Glilot Capital also participated. 

San Francisco based At-Bay is an InsurTech startup that focuses on covering cyber risk. It was founded in 2016 by co-founders Roman Itskovich and Rotem Iram. In five years, At-Bay has overall received $272M in funding. This was their third funding round in the last eighteen months. Insurtech is described as emerging tech firms transforming the insurance industry, offering customers reduced costs, efficient service and a better experience.
