Medical technology company, DeepScribe has earned $5.2 million in a seed funding round led by Bee Partners. Founded in 2017, the start-up tackles a long-standing – and often over-looked – problem in the medical community. Offering ambient AI for medical note-taking, DeepScribe alleviates the burden of paperwork, putting human connection back into medical care.
Studies show that for every hour doctors spend with patients, paperwork accounts for two. Compounded with late nights and the enormous strain of the job, doctors are left burnt-out. And with so much emphasis on facts and figures, patients often feel unheard and uninformed.
