Smart home solution, NoiseAware recently earned $8 million in capital. The funding round, led by S3 Ventures and Thayer Ventures, will fuel the company’s growth. It will also allow the start-up to expand beyond the short-term rental space.
Every algorithm and piece of hardware at NoiseAware is designed with consumer safety in mind. With an extensive background building federal radar systems, co-founder and CEO Andrew Schulz felt immediately drawn to the start-up, and to the expanding market that called for it. With no added recording or streaming features, the company differs from others of its kind. Privacy is a top priority.
