FoodSmart Earns $25 Million in Late-Stage Funding

Online nutrition platform FoodSmart has earned over $25 million in a late-stage funding round. Advocate Aurora Enterprises led other firms in this investment round. The Series C round included Classpass CEO Fitz Lanman, former Darden Restaurants CEO Clarence Otiz, and Benefitfocus Founder Shawn Jenkins. The Social Enterprises Fund, Mayfield Fund, and New Ground Ventures also participated.
