Royal Caribbean Group Sells Its Azamara Brand To Sycamore Partners

Royal Caribbean Group has reached an agreement to sell one of their brands to a private equity group. According to Seatrade Cruise News, the company is selling their brand, Azamara, to Sycamore Partners.

While the brand’s team will remain the same, COO, Carol Cabezas, will become the next president. This is Sycamore’s first time investing in the cruise industry. Despite these changes, Sycamore states that they will try to stay true to Royal Caribbean’s original methods of work and operations.
