Coupa Software (NASDAQ: COUP) announced on Monday Nov. 2 that it has acquired Llamasoft for a purchase price of approximately $1.5 billion.
Coupa’s acquisition of Llamasoft is in line with the company’s previous acquisitions. So far this year, Coupa has completed four acquisitions, including Yapta, BELLIN Group, Llamasoft, and a deal with Walmart. Moving forward, the newly combined Coupa and Llamasoft will operate as Coupa Supply Chain Planning.
Through this acquisiton, Coupa will gain a variety of supply chain capabilites, including Optimization for supply networks, inventory and transportation, demand and supply planning, sales and operations planning, and low-code/no-code rapid supply chain app development.
