Amazon recently received federal approval to establish a fleet of delivery drones. The multinational technology company will begin testing package deliveries throughout the country. But, while this new technology means cost-effective and convenient changes, widespread use will not happen for some time.
The Seattle-based conglomerate currently has testing sites in Canada, Austria, and the UK, as well as other international locations. Currently, however, the limited tests can only be performed to US and UK-based costumers. It is also unclear exactly when testing will begin in the US.
